About Becca Gladden ... Becca Gladden is a freelance writer and analyst covering NASCAR's Sprint Cup series for various print, multimedia and internet outlets, and a proud member of the National Motorsports Press Association. Gladden combines a distinctive reader-friendly writing style with unique insight and wit, delivering articles that are consistently accurate and intriguing.
Gladden began writing about stock-car racing for The Stock Car Review in 2004 and soon moved on to Insider Racing News, where her weekly column still appears. She has worked as a feature writer for RaceWeek and SpeedWeekly newspapers and as a race handicapper for Nascapper.com and Cappers' Picks. In addition, Becca worked as a NASCAR Analyst for WHOK Radio, a Motor Racing Network (MRN) affiliate station; the Carey and Coffey show at ESPN Radio 940/1510; as a correspondent for El Paso Metro Sports, a Time-Warner cable TV network; and has been a guest commentator for On Pit Row, a FOX Sports radio show.
Becca was published in the 'Bonus' section of the Sports Illustrated website (SI.com), and has been a contributor and Assistant Editor for the Athlon Sports 2008, 2009 and 2010 NASCAR Preview issues.
Gladden says, "People who don't like NASCAR really don't know NASCAR. The more involved you are with the sport, the more you find to value and appreciate about it. I am honored to have written a weekly NASCAR column for the past six years and look forward to doing so for many years to come."
Becca believes that the drivers will always be the backbone of the sport and enjoys sharing information and perspective with her readers that may be missing from the mainstream media headlines.
In addition to her writing duties, Gladden served as Social Media Director for Team Full Throttle (Mooresville, NC), a driver development organization, and performed marketing and PR services for Activ8 Communications (Mooresville, NC) and Victor Pfluger Racing (Phoenix, AZ). Gladden is also owner of LimelightWriting.com, a professional press release firm specializing in motorsports.
Ms. Gladden resides in Phoenix, Arizona, and is currently available for writing, speaking and public relations assignments.
